Andy and I slept in, took our time getting ready and then headed over to explore more of Kensington Gardens to have a picnic.
It was a beautiful and warm day, so we walked until we found the perfect spot. On this quest for the perfect picnic spot, we stumbled across Serpentine Lake and decided to eat in the shade of cottonwood and willow trees. Our view overlooked the lake that was filled with little blue paddle boats and canoes. It looked like a Georges Seurat painting.
After lunch, we walked to the opposite side of the lake to sit in the sun. Andy took a nap and tanned whie I wrote postcards to Papa Joe and Livvy-Lou.
